چکیده

Under the assumption that both light and heavy quarkonia populate approximately linear Regge trajectories with the requirements of additivity of intercepts and inverse slopes, the masses of different meson multiplets are estimated. The predictions derived from the quasi-linear Regge trajectories are in reasonable agreement with those given by many other references. E-mail:[email protected]/[email protected] Mailing address

Matching Regge Theory to the OPE

The spectra of masses and decay constants for non-strange meson resonances in the energy range 0–2.5 GeV is analyzed. It is known from meson phenomenology that for given quantum numbers these spectra approximately follow linear trajectories with a universal slope. These facts can be understood in terms of an effective string description for QCD. For light meson states the trajectories deviate n...

Glueball Spectroscopy in Regge Phenomenology *

We show that linear Regge trajectories for mesons and glueballs, and the cubic mass spectrum associated with them, determine a relation between the masses of the ρ meson and the scalar glueball, M (0 ++) = 3/ √ 2 M (ρ), which implies M (0 ++) = 1620 ± 10 MeV. We also discuss relations between the masses of the scalar and The existence of a gluon self-coupling in QCD suggests that, in addition t...

Meson-meson interactions and Regge propagators

By a reformulation of the loop expansion in the Resonance-Spectrum-Expansion amplitude for meson-meson scattering, in terms of s-channel exchange of families of propagator modes, we obtain a formalism which allows for a wider range of applications. The connection with the unitarized amplitudes employed in some chiral theories is discussed. We also define an alternative for the Regge spectra and...

We show that Regge phenomenology is consistent with the only universal scaling law for hadron masses, M * /M = (α ′ /α ′ *) 1/2 , where asterisk indicates a finite-temperature quantity. Phenomenological models further suggest the following expression of the above scaling in terms of the temperature-dependent gluon conden-sate: M * /M = (α ′ /α ′ *) 1/2 = (G a µν * /G aµν) 1/4. It is known that ...

A possible assignment for the ground scalar meson nonet

Based on the main assumption that the a0(980) and D ∗ sJ (2317) belong to the 1 3P0 qq̄ multiplet, in the framework of Regge phenomenology and meson-meson mixing, it is suggested that the a0(980), K ∗ 0 (1052), f0(1099) and f0(530) constitute the ground scalar meson nonet, and that the f0(1099) is composed mostly of ss̄ while the f0(530) is mainly uū+dd̄. It is supposed that these states would lik...
